Multibanking to be discontinued

On 1 December 2024

Very soon, you will no longer see the accounts you hold with other banks in your account overview in the ABN AMRO app or on Internet Banking.

We’re working on a new service

Very few clients use Multibanking in its present form, so we’ve decided to discontinue the service. Instead, we will introduce a form of Multibanking that is better suited to the needs of our clients. This revamped service will be available under 'Insight' in the ABN AMRO app.

More information and terms and conditions until 1 December 2024

Who is it for?

Multibanking is aimed at ABN AMRO clients aged 16 and over, who hold one or more current accounts with ASN Bank, ING, Rabobank, RegioBank or SNS.

Accounts that you hold with other banks will appear in your overview until 1 December 2024. After this date, the link that you gave consent for will be deleted. This will happen automatically without you having to do anything. If you want to delete the link to your other accounts before this date, open the app, select Profile > Accounts and payments > Accounts with other banks, and deregister the account.

How does Multibanking work?

If you’ve previously linked a current account held at another bank to your ABN AMRO account overview, it will remain in your overview until 1 December 2024.

Adding an account

From 1 December 2024 onwards, you will not be able to add accounts held with other banks to the ABN AMRO app or Internet Banking.

Giving and withdrawing consent

In the past, you gave consent through the ABN AMRO app or Internet Banking for current accounts that you hold with other banks to be shown in your ABN AMRO account overview. As we ask for your consent to retrieve data from the other bank on your behalf every 90 days, we may ask again before 1 December 2024. You can decide whether you want to authorise this for the remaining period or not.

On 1 December 2024, the Multibanking service will be discontinued and we will automatically delete any links to current accounts at other banks. You don’t need to do anything. You can delete the link before this date in the ABN AMRO app by going to Profile > Accounts and payments > Accounts with other banks.
