Blocking a direct debit

If you want to prevent a company from debiting your current account, simply use the red card to revoke your direct debit mandate. If your account is debited anyway, you can block the direct debit. Read on to find out how it works. Follow these 7 steps to block the direct debit. 

 

Blocking steps via Internet Banking

  1. Log in to Internet Banking using the button below 'Block now'.
  2. Select the current account of which the amount will be debited.
  3. Select the processed direct debit or the scheduled direct debit you want to block
  4. Click 'Manage direct debit'
  5. Choose 'Refuse' or 'Allow with exceptions'
  6. Click 'Send'
  7. Go to your Task list to send your order
