Promotion terms & conditions

If you open a current account (Basic Payment Package) for yourself using the code BEGIN100 during the promotion period (3 October 2024 to 31 January 2025), you receive a gift worth up to €100. You earn this €100 in 3 steps:

1. Open an account and activate the app and your debit card within 3 months: you’ll receive the first €25
2. Make at least 10 payments using your (digital) debit card within the first 3 months: you’ll receive the next €25
3. Have at least 3 salary payments deposited into your account within the first 6 months: you’ll receive the final €50

The money will appear in your account on the same day as the monthly fee for your bank account is deducted. The processing time for the promotion may mean that it takes a month longer, and we deduct your monthly fee from the amount you receive. We check whether you’ve completed one or more of the 3 steps on the last working day of the month. You will see your gift on your next statement, minus your regular monthly fee. The check for paying out the final €50 (step 3) is carried out 6 months after you open your account. You’ll recognise the payment from our payment reference on your statement:

• Gift 1 - Activate app and card
• Gift 2 - 10 payments made
• Gift 3 - 3 salary deposits

You can take part in this promotion if you:

• are aged 18 or older;
• have an official Dutch home address;
• have a Dutch ID, a residence permit or an international passport;
• are not yet an ABN AMRO customer;
• open a current account for yourself in the ABN AMRO app (the promotion only applies to the Basic Payment Package).

• You can only take advantage of this promotion once, i.e. you can only open one new current account in your name.
• ABN AMRO Bank N.V. reserves the right to amend the promotion terms and conditions or to cancel or extend the term of the promotion at any time, in which case an updated, amended version of the promotion terms and conditions will be posted on abnamro.nl.
• The promotion is an initiative of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. with registered offices in Amsterdam.
• This promotion is governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from this promotion will be heard in the first instance by the competent court in Amsterdam.

• If you enter incorrect personal data, you will be excluded from the promotion.
• ABN AMRO reserves the right to exclude participants from the promotion at any time if it is of the opinion that the participant has violated one or more conditions of participation, has provided incorrect or incomplete information, or has acted in any other legally impermissible manner.

• These promotion terms and conditions and the promotion concerned are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these promotion terms and conditions and/or from the promotion will be heard in the first instance by the competent court in Amsterdam.
