Moving to our country can be exciting. We love to help you find your way financially in the Netherlands. Check what we can do for you, and experience seamless banking designed to meet the unique needs of expats like you.
Registering with the local council is one of the first things you need to do once you arrive in the Netherlands. You must register within five days of moving to the Netherlands, along with your partner and children (if applicable). You will be given a BSN (Dutch personal ID number) when you register. You need this number for all the other matters that need to be arranged, such as opening a bank account.
Don't have a BSN yet? Then you can still open an account. However, you must provide us with your BSN within 90 days after opening your account.
