Who is this for?

Comfort ESG Investment Advice is intended for investors at ABN AMRO MeesPierson who like to make their investment decisions with the advice of an expert. Comfort ESG Investment Advice is available to investors with assets from € 500,000. The fee is based on a maximum of 50 transactions per year.

What are the investment possibilities?

With Comfort ESG Investment Advice you can invest in shares, corporate and government bonds, investment funds, trackers, impact funds and structured investment products.

  • Our asset manager ABN AMRO Investment Solutions offers a range of funds by selecting external fund managers. This gives you access to distinctive strategies as a customer that are often not accessible to private investors in the Netherlands. The funds can be fully configured according to the wishes and guidelines of ABN AMRO, for example in the areas of investment policy, sustainability, interest rate sensitivity and reference index.
  • In addition, we provide you with customised solutions through our Structured Products & Treasury desk in the form of structured investment products, currency products and interest rate products, so that you can respond to your investment vision and asset goals. You determine the characteristics of the product yourself, such as the underlying instrument, term, risks and issuing institution.
  • Your investment adviser regularly makes a thorough and accurate analysis of your investment portfolio, which they then discuss with you.
  • You will also have a revision meeting with your private banker. In this meeting, you will discuss your overall financial situation and your satisfaction with the financial services of ABN AMRO MeesPierson. You will also discuss whether Comfort ESG Investment Advice still suits you.
What is the investment style?

Comfort ESG Investment Advice stands for a balanced investment portfolio across the various asset categories. Good risk management is of course part of this. That is why the investment specialists and analysts at ABN AMRO MeesPierson research companies, investment funds and investment products worldwide.

They look at the financial situation, company structure, turnover data and profit figures. They also analyse fundamentally important values such as the composition and quality of management. Developments in the sector and in the country or region in which the company, investment fund or product is active are also analysed. In this way, our analysts determine for you their long-term view of the price development and therefore whether the investment in question is worth buying, holding or selling. We call this a fundamental analysis.

With Comfort ESG Investment Advice you benefit from this thorough research information and professional knowledge. This allows you to avoid risks and take advantage of attractive investment opportunities.

It is not permitted to invest in options, warrants and turbos under Comfort ESG Investment Advice.

Risk profiles

ABN AMRO uses six risk profiles for Investment Advice: from low risk (very defensive) to very high risk (very offensive). Each risk profile includes a recommended distribution of the invested capital between shares, bonds, alternative investments and liquidities.

When you have determined your risk profile together with your investment adviser, we can compile an appropriate investment portfolio. You can immediately see what this can mean for the returns on your investments.
