The ABN AMRO app is suitable for use with a larger font size. You can enlarge the size of the font in your tablet’s or telephone’s settings, under ‘Accessibility’. The text in the ABN AMRO app will then also become larger. If you have an Android device and you rotate it, the screen of the ABN AMRO app will rotate too.

The ABN AMRO app uses clearly contrasting colours. This also takes colour-blindness into account. Colours are always used in combination with an icon.
The ABN AMRO app can be used with a dark screen on telephones with iOS or tablets with iPadOS. You can enable the ‘dark mode’ yourself in your device’s settings. The app will then change automatically. This feature will also be available for Android soon.
The ABN AMRO app can be used with a screen reader, which reads the text shown on the screen. The screen reader is a standard tool on telephones and tablets. VoiceOver for iOS/iPadOS and TalkBack for Android. You can enable VoiceOver and TalkBack in your device’s settings, under ‘Accessibility’.

The ABN AMRO app supports Braille displays. This enables you to read the text on the screen. Most Braille displays can be connected to your phone or tablet using Bluetooth, but you’ll need VoiceOver or TalkBack. You can enable these features in the settings.
A lot of Geldmaat ATMs have a speech feature. They tell you what to do on each screen so you can deposit or withdraw money yourself. You activate the feature by connecting your headphones to the ATM. The opening for the headphones is on the right, and easy to feel.
