You may prefer to use Internet Banking rather than your mobile phone for certain banking activities, like transferring large amounts. Scanning a QR code is the fastest way for you to log in securely to Internet Banking for Business. If you have a business profile in the app, you’ll hardly ever need your e.dentifier.

Getting the right help when calling

The fastest way to call us is via the ABN AMRO app. And as we can see you’re calling us as a business client if you have a business profile, we’ll be able to help you even better. You’ll be put straight through to the right department. If you’d rather use the app to chat with us, your business profile will also come in handy!

Separate personal and business accounts

If you have both a personal and a business bank account with us, you can use a separate business profile in the ABN AMRO app to provide clarity for your records and accounting system. This way you always have easy access to your banking, just under separate profiles. If you want your business daily limit to be different from your personal one, you need a business profile. By the way, you can easily switch between your personal and business profile.

Have your business debit card ready. And go to the log-in screen, but don’t log in yet.

Tap the picture and then ‘Add profile’.

Enter your business account number and card number and follow the steps.

What do I get out of a business profile in the ABN AMRO app?

Having an additional business profile in the ABN AMRO app allows you to keep your personal and business accounts separate more easily. Each profile has its own current account and its own identification code, so you’re specifically logging in to your personal or business account. If you’d like to change profiles, you can log out, tap the other profile and log in again.        

You’ll always have easy access to your banking on the same phone, just under separate profiles. Your business income and expenditure are in their own environment. That’s convenient, as it provides clarity for your accounting system and records.

A business profile has other benefits as well:

  • Getting help faster when calling or chatting to us from your business profile in the ABN AMRO app, as we can immediately identify you as a business client.
  • Also logging in to Internet Banking for Business easily with a QR code. Scan the code with the ABN AMRO app and confirm with your business profile’s identification code. This two-step verification makes logging in even more secure.
  • If you have a business profile in the app, you’ll hardly ever need your e.dentifier. If you need to confirm an iDEAL payment or transfer, you can often do so with the app already.
I don’t have a business debit card. How do I add the business profile in the ABN AMRO app?

If you want to add your business profile, you need a business debit card. You can easily request a business debit card (in Dutch) yourself.

What if I have multiple business accounts?

You can add multiple accounts to your overview. Tap ‘Change overview’ and tick the boxes for the account(s) you want to see in your overview.

Even if you have a business account with another bank, you can add it to the overview in the ABN AMRO app. 

I can no longer log in with my fingerprint, Touch ID, Face ID or facial recognition. Why is this?

Logging in with Touch ID, your fingerprint, Face ID or facial recognition is disabled if you have more than one profile on the ABN AMRO app. You’ll only be able to log in with your identification code.

How can I remove my business account from my personal account’s profile in the app?

Open the ABN AMRO app and log in to your personal account’s profile. Tap ‘Account overview’. Untick the business account you want to remove from your overview and tap ‘Save’.

How can I change my profile name and picture?

Open the ABN AMRO app and log in to the profile you want to change. Tap ‘Profile’ in the menu at the bottom of the screen and then tap ‘Change your profile name or picture’. Change your name or picture and tap ‘Save’.
