Georgette Boele is Foreign Exchange and Precious Metals Specialist at the Economic Bureau of ABN AMRO. After completing her studies at the University of Amsterdam, majoring in business organisation and financial markets, she joined ABN AMRO in 1998 as a currency trader in the dealing room. She studied multiple specialist areas in the financial markets and gained her doctorate (with the book Strategic Market Analysis) from Rushmore University. She then began specialising in gemstones. Since 2006, she has devoted herself full-time to research in the foreign exchange and commodity markets.
