What does your breakdown assistance cover?

Breakdown assistance covers you for the following: 

  • Assistance for car or trailer breakdowns. 
  • Emergency repairs up to €500. 
  • Replacement driver if the driver is no longer able to drive due to illness or an accident.
  • A replacement car for a maximum of five days if the car cannot be repaired at the place where it broke down (breakdown assistance in the Netherlands). 
  • A replacement car for a maximum of 15 days if repairs take longer than 24 hours (breakdown assistance abroad).
  • Costs incurred abroad for destroying your car or trailer if it would not be responsible to have it brought back to the Netherlands (breakdown assistance abroad).
