Here’s how easy it is to switch to ABN AMRO

If you would like to switch your insurance policies to ABN AMRO, you only need to take 3 easy steps. This will get you excellent coverage at a competitive premium.

  1. Take out your new insurance policy

    Calculate your premium and take out your insurance policy with ABN AMRO. You will receive a confirmation email right away.

    If ABN AMRO Verzekeringen accepts your application, you will receive your new policy per post within 3 working days.

  2. Cancel your old insurance policy

    Cancel your old insurance policy on your former insurer’s website or send the insurer a letter stating that you wish to cancel your policy with effect from the start date of your new policy.

  3. Check the cancellation date

    Read the confirmation letter from your current insurer. If the cancellation date of the policy matches the start date of your new policy, you do not need to take any further action. If these dates do not match up, please contact us (usual call charges apply). We will then change the start date free of charge.

    If you have not received a confirmation letter from your former insurer within two weeks of cancellation, make sure you contact your former insurer to avoid duplicate coverage.
