The 3 steps of taking out a mortgage

Taking out a mortgage is a 3-step process. Find the stage of the process that you are currently in and see what documents we need from you and when. Please bear in mind that it may take several working days to get all these documents.

  1. Orientation

    You are looking into whether you can get a mortgage and how much you would be able to borrow.
  2. Applying for a mortgage offer

    You have signed the purchase contract and want to take out a mortgage. At this stage of the process, you can get advice and choose the mortgage type that is best aligned with your situation.
  3. Taking out a mortgage

    You have found the mortgage that is right for you and accepted the offer. The mortgage application has been completed. Next, you go to the notary, sign the deed and receive the keys to your new home.
 

Changing your mortgage

If you want to change your mortgage before the maturity date, to adjust the mortgage interest rate, make additional repayments or switch to a different mortgage type, for instance, you will need these documents.
