    If you’ve got some extra money, you’re welcome to make additional repayments. We won’t charge you. Just transfer the money to us via Internet Banking or Mobile Banking.

Who qualifies for a loan?

You can apply for a loan if you: 

  • Are between the ages of 21 and 69 
  • Have sufficient income to make your monthly payments 
  • Live in the Netherlands
  • Have a temporary residence permit (please note: the maximum term of your loan will correspond to the term of your residence permit)

Don’t bank with us? Not a problem!

You can apply for our personal loan even if you’re not an ABN AMRO client. All you need to do is go online. If you’re from an EU country, we’ll come to you if we need to check your ID. If you’re from a non-EU country, we’ll ask you to visit an ABN AMRO branch so that we can check your ID. 

Loans for self-employed persons

If you have income from self-employment, you can apply for a private loan. We’ll assess your financial situation based on your annual results and personal income tax returns for the past two years.
