This innovative new payment method makes paying for your shopping quick and easy by using your smartwatch. It works the same way as making contactless payments with your debit card: simply hold your wearable against the payment terminal.

Check out which wearables you can link to your current account and buy the wearable you want to use.

Register your wearable

Log in to the ABN AMRO app or Internet Banking to look up your personal card number. Use this card number to register your wearable in the online shop or in the relevant app.

Log in to the ABN AMRO app or Internet Banking to activate your wearable. You can make contactless payments right away.

Buy your wearable

Check out which wearables you can link to your current account and buy the wearable you want to use.

Who it is for?

  • You are an ABN AMRO or ABN AMRO MeesPierson customer
  • You are over the age of 16 years
  • You have an ABN AMRO current account with Internet Banking access and a debit card
Costs

The digital debit card is free of charge. You can link multiple wearables to your current account. Check the rates here.

If you want to stop using your wearable, simply cancel it here.

Security

Payment security is important to us, so we have made sure that payments using your wearable are just as secure as with your existing debit card. We have also made it easy to block your wearable on Internet Banking or in the ABN AMRO app. Find here out how.

Contactless payments

You can make payments up to a maximum of €250 per day using your wearable.

In order to make payments, you will need to enter a PIN (which you choose yourself) every 24 hours or after having taken the wearable off. Simply select the wallet feature on your smartwatch or fitness tracker and hold it against the payment terminal.

Terms & conditions and privacy

Use your personal card number to register your wearable in the online shop or in the relevant app. When you share your personal data with the supplier of the wearable, the supplier is responsible for the use of this data.
